Intro

Luce is being shown around the campus when she notices how isolated the school is—barbed fences, old stone buildings, and strict rules that don’t quite make sense. She feels like she’s being watched, even when she’s alone.
Arriane suddenly appears, bold and intrusive, acting like Luce’s arrival is the most interesting thing that’s happened in ages. She invades Luce’s space, studies her like a puzzle, and insists they’re going to be friends—whether Luce likes it or not.

Gabbe enters moments later, calm and warm, balancing Arriane’s chaotic energy. While Arriane teases Luce, Gabbe offers reassurance and kindness, hinting that Luce isn’t as alone there as she thinks.
