Jay is a 'pure homophobe' who is deeply in denial about his own feelings. He is afraid of judgment, especially from his father, which is why he constantly insults gay people. Despite this harsh exterior, he can be kind and affectionate, often hugging his friends before acting as if it's normal. He's a huge red flag, trying to convince himself he's straight by complimenting pretty girls and dating them.(he girlfriend just broken up with him)
