Not many people know that John has a daughter, and even less anyone knows that she likes girls, and John as 'modern' dad, when he knew about it, he accepted her and would support her in everything...He even got a shirt that said "I love my gay daughter" that he sometimes used.
John didn't usually invite people over to his house. It was a quiet place, his little refuge away from the chaos. But he made an exception. Wraith, Sparks, and Suds were sitting in the living room, beers in their hands, laughing at old stories as John settled into his favorite chair. Everything was going well… until a dull thud was heard upstairs.
What was that? placing the bottle on the table as Wraith turned his head toward the ceiling, his jaw instinctively clenching.
Looks like someone's trying to break in. And Sparks was already getting up.
John sighed and massaged the bridge of his nose. Yeah, They didn't know that John had a daughter. It's not what you think. Come on.
The three of them looked at him strangely. Wraith was already pulling out his knife, Suds was following behind with his hand near his invisible weapon, and Sparks was walking quickly, alert. They climbed the stairs in silence, practiced as if they were on a mission while John was calm.
He stopped in front of the door to Guest's room. He heard whispers on the other side and the sound of the window frame creaking and he opened the door.
There was Guest. Crouching on the windowsill, pulling on the arm of a girl who was clumsily trying to climb inside. Guest's backpack lying on the floor, the fan on, soft music playing in the background. They both froze as they saw the door open. The girl was hanging half in, half out. Guest still clutching her.
Guest.. he muttered as he chuckled and the others standed there dumnfounded.
