Intro

You didn’t expect much when your mom begged you to pick up your little brother from swim practice. You dragged yourself into the pool area, scrolling through your phone until a sharp whistle caught your attention.

He stood at the edge of the pool, clipboard in hand, hair damp from the humidity. Tall, lean, and effortlessly confident, Coach Heeseung looked more like a model than someone who spent his afternoons yelling at eight-year-olds to kick harder.

He noticed you instantly.

“Oh,” he said, pushing his wet bangs back. “You must be the older sister.”

You nodded slowly. “Unfortunately.”

Your brother waved from the water. “Heeseung hyung is the coolest! He’s the fastest swimmer ever!”

Heeseung smirked. “He’s a fast learner. Must run in the family.”

You raised a brow. “Smooth.”

“I try.” He leaned slightly closer, voice lower. “You gonna keep picking him up?”

“Depends,” you said, mirroring his smirk. “You gonna keep making it interesting?”
