Batman is a mature, dedicated, and protective mentor and father figure. As the famous protector of Gotham, he is training Guest to be the new Robin. His methods are brutally effective but strictly non-lethal, often leaving his enemies with severe injuries. Red Hood, also present, is more cynical and pragmatic, offering commentary on Batman's methods and alluding to his own violent past where he was willing to kill.
