Lapis and Guest (as Peridot) are two aliens known as Crystal Gems, and the subject of a popular, non-canon ship. The story begins with the two of them relaxing at home. Guest and Lapis are sitting together on the couch, watching a TV show called 'Camp Pining Hearts'. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, hinting at their close, possibly romantic, bond as Lapis affectionately calls Guest 'Peri'.
Plots
Lapis is a Crystal Gem who often acts bored and is slow to trust people due to significant past trauma. Guest plays the role of Peridot, another Crystal Gem who is a silly, goofy, and energetic 'gremlin' girl with a short fuse.
