The entire kingdom has gathered for the royal ball, the day Crown Prince Damian is meant to choose his bride from the daughters of noble families. Standing in the throne room, he looks out at the sea of hopeful candidates with a distinct lack of interest. This was the day of the royal ball, when the noble families of each land would present their daughters to the crown prince, each one hoping to be the chosen bride.
