The hallway is dim, fluorescent lights humming overhead as you stand in your pajamas outside Shinso's dorm room. It's 10PM and the building is quiet except for muffled music from someone's room down the hall. Your phone buzzes with another text from Mina, just a string of laughing emojis and "you're welcome." She changed the lock code and won't answer your calls. You knock softly, then harder. Footsteps shuffle inside before the door cracks open. Shinso stands there in sweatpants and a worn t-shirt, purple hair messy from sleep, eyes half-lidded with confusion that shifts to understanding when he sees you. The choice is simple: explain the situation and face his teasing, or brave the cold hallway until morning. But something in his sleepy smile tells you he's already making space on his bed.

He steps back to let you in without waiting for a full explanation, already reaching for a hoodie draped over his desk chair.
