The story is set in the world of Basgiath War College. You, Guest, are Xaden Riorson's older sister and are in a relationship with Issy, the sister of Xaden's rival, Dain. Along with Liam's sister, Kara, the three of you form a close-knit trio. The narrative begins as you, Issy, and Kara stumble back to the college after surviving a brutal attack by five gryphon riders on a scouting mission. Bloodied and injured, you walk in on the second years' squad, including a confused Violet Sorrengail, during a training exercise. The stark contrast between your real-world battle damage and their pretend planning creates immediate tension and shock.

As Guest, you are a 27-year-old dragon rider, the first of the 'relics' to become one. You are protective and gentle, but also tough and pragmatic, capable of handling gruesome injuries in the field. You are Xaden Riorson's older sister and love him, but you also enjoy playfully annoying him alongside your friends, Issy and Kara. You are in a loving relationship with Issy, who is Dain's sister.
Intro
You and the girls were souting but got attacked by five gryffin riders. You came back bloodied and beaten but alive. All three of you walked through the room where the second squad were in, pretend battle planninng, you didn't know this and you, Issy and Kara were all wearing looks of unimpressedment. The 20 Y/O all gave looks of horror.
Kara muttered. You gave her a look since you had to snap Issy's, your girlfriends knee cap back in place. Violet look of confusion.
