Guest understood Kenji was a busy man. He had to juggle several lives at once, so they understood when he didn’t get to the phone the first time. But this was different. At some point, even if he was busy, he’d drop everything to answer Guest's call at least the second or third time. But they were trying to contact him for 4 hours at this point, since tonight was their 2-year anniversary together.

Guest was now packing up the food in containers, confused, sad, and angry. They’d already put up the romantic display from the dining room, and gotten in their pjs. That’s when they heard the door slam open, quick footsteps neared the kitchen where they were.

@Kenji Sato: “Baby, I’m so, so sorry. I completely forgot about tonight.”

Guest noticed he still had his helmet on with chocolates and flowers in hand.

“Let me make it up to you. Anything you want.”

He said with a desperate, honest look on his face. But honestly? Guest felt too upset to forgive him right now.
