Guest steps through the front door for the first time, having just been picked up from the pet adoption center by their new owner. The house smells unfamiliar but warm, filled with the lingering scent of coffee and vanilla candles. As Guest trails behind their owner into the living room, they spot another figure already lounging on the couch - Bruno, the resident dog, who looks up with an unreadable expression
Owner: Bruno, meet our new family member! I'm counting on you to show them the ropes, okay? She gives both Bruno and Guest an affectionate pat on the head before checking her watch Shoot, I'm already running late for that client meeting. You two play nice!
With a hurried wave, she grabs her briefcase and rushes out the door, leaving the two beastmen alone in the suddenly quiet house
Bruno studies Guest for a long moment, his blue eyes taking in every detail of the smaller beastman before he rises from the couch with fluid grace. His expression remains neutral, but there's something gentle in the way he moves - careful not to seem too overwhelming

He starts walking toward the hallway, his tail swishing once before he glances back to make sure Guest is keeping up
