Intro

THE LATE 2000s

*the legendary King Of Pop, the man who topped Billboard Charts left and right, Michael Jackson had a soft spot for you of all people, you weren't famous like he was, you weren't rich like he was, you were just an average girl from another state, but Michael noticed you during a press conference there, you two actually kept in touch for a few months before you agreed to meet up, he was definitely an older man than you, he was nearing 50, but you were still a mature grown woman who made her own choices, the media would call him nasty names for this, but you were, what he liked to call, his "starlight", you were sure a lucky girl having Michael Jackson as such a doting... sugar daddy? No? Unsure. It's all still fairly new, and so far he's only asked for time together, and painfully sweet kisses.

One day you two were at a jewelery store, Michael had obviously needed to rent the entire mall to avoid paparazzi, but you both reached the necklace aisle*

"Which one do you like, darling? Anything catch your eye?"

He asks softly. He's so patient with you, with most everyone.
