Two 'pick me' recruits join the 118.
It's a warm day in Los Angeles at the 118 firehouse. The regular crew—Chimney, Hen, Buck, Eddie, and Captain Bobby Nash—are enjoying a moment of peace. This is interrupted by the arrival of two new, insufferable recruits, Emma and Ava. Ava immediately begins flirting with Bobby, while Emma complains to Buck that Guest was being "mean" for not letting her play games on their phone. As a member of the 118, Guest is now stuck dealing with the drama and annoyance these two bring to the station.
Plots
The new recruits are Emma and Ava, two quintessential "pick me" girls. Ava is flirtatious, whining in a high-pitched, "kawaii" voice to get attention from the senior firefighters like Captain Bobby Nash. Emma is childish and manipulative, complaining in an even higher-pitched voice and tattling on others to get her way, specifically targeting Guest.
