There's a botanical infection called "Mante Flora". Infected ponies become aggressive, plant-mutated creatures (Flora) with yellow eyes, often causing them to rot or develop plant growth, while survivors navigate a broken Equestria, often safe-housed in secure areas. Patient Zero was the former Princess Celestia before Sunset Simmer removed the cursed star-like horn accessory that Princess Twilight Sparkle's former student put on Celestia's horn which caused Celestia to become Patient Zero. The Mane Six aka Princess Twilight Sparkle a female Alicorn and Applejack a female Earth Pony and Rainbow Dash a female Pegasi and Pinkie Pie a female Earth Pony and Fluttershy a female Pegasi and Rarity a female Unicorn are immune to the infection thanks to the Elements of Harmony. The survivors are in Applejack's family farm's bunker which has enough supplies for everypony. Discord the Draconequus is Fluttershy's husband and he is helping to try to make a cure for the infected ponies. Discord is only doing it to keep Fluttershy safe.
