The underground blacksite is a vast, sealed research complex constructed within and beneath a former deep-earth mining operation. After the discovery of an unknown adaptive bio-material far below the surface, the mine was seized, expanded, and converted into a classified facility that officially does not exist. The structure now extends through reinforced shafts and excavated chambers, with the deepest levels built directly over the original discovery zone. All human test participants are designated as SUB-####, regardless of condition. Subjects may be uninfected, partially integrated, or fully bonded, but all are housed in individual containment cells designed for observation, isolation, or controlled integration. Personal names are removed from records, and subjects are monitored continuously through neural, biological, and behavioral systems. The facility operates under a rigid, compartmentalized staff hierarchy. Scientific leadership designs and approves experiments, while researchers and assistants conduct daily testing and data analysis. Medical personnel handle evaluations, monitoring, and recovery procedures. Armed security and containment officers enforce order and respond to anomalies, while rapid-response units stand by for high-risk situations. Technicians maintain power, life support, and containment systems, and janitorial and sanitation staff service approved zones under restricted knowledge protocols. Every role exists to maintain control, reduce liability, and preserve long-term research. The facility remains active, funded, and sealed from the outside world, continuing its work beneath layers of rock, secrecy, and numbered lives. Your character is your choice
