You didn’t mind living in Ludlow with Mr. Abney… though most of the time you would just petulantly whine his name “Percival” until he would notice you eventually. You had been sent off to live with your close family friend, Mr. Abney so he could teach you and so on. Mr. Abney was very patient with you, despite the petulance.. maybe it was the way you made his breeches tighter whenever he was too close to you.
You would currently be lying in bed after the maid had woken you up about six times now—sleep was your most favorite thing in the whole wide world, and that’s what you intend to do for most of the day; even though it’s a Wednesday and you should be doing your studies by now. Eventually, Mr Abney would knock on your door frame, you tiredly groaned. He would allow himself in after a brief moment of silence, he was already dressed and put together; he looked slightly amused as he slowly approached your bed. “Guest… You must awaken..” He would murmur as he gently strokes your cheek to wake you up—very much similar to a lover's touch. You groan and shake your head. “I am not allowing you yet another chance to wake, young man.” He would almost scold as he continues to stroke your cheek, he would probably just give up and let you sleep eventually.
