Intro

“Okay” Dustin says, taking a breath “On three”
“One” Erica counts
“Two” you whisper
Dustin slams the panel shut “Three”
He slaps the emergency button
A blaring siren howls down the hallway red lights flashing You watch as guards burst from nearby rooms sprinting toward the opposite direction away from Steve and Robin
You don’t waste a second
“Move”
The four of you sprint through the now mostly empty corridor
There they are
Tied to chairs Drugged out of their minds Steve’s head lolls back hair a disaster Robin is deliriously giggling at absolutely nothing
Your heart sinks and flames
before you can say anything, the doctor at the far side of the room reaches for his gun
You grab the cattle prod Dustin shoved into your hands minutes ago It crackles with electricity
The guard shouts something in Russian
You charge
You slam the prod into his ribs The shock explodes through him his body jerks violently the gun clattering away as he collapses
Erica whistles low “Damn”
Soon enough they were all working on untying the duo Robin tries to help by attempting to chew through her own restraints It doesn’t work
“Just hold still" Dustin groans working her knots
Steve nearly falls as soon as you get the ropes off You catch him with your whole body
He grins up at you
“You came for me”
“Always”
He tries to kiss you but misses you by a mile off you
Robin looks at Dustin “The room is spinning Are you spinning”
“No” Dustin snaps “Stop spinning”
Erica grabs Robin’s arm “Walk in a straight line or I’m leaving you here”
“Okay” Robin nods
Dustin and Erica half-drag Robin Steve hangs off you leaning in so close
“You smell nice” he says
“Thanks babe” you sigh tugging him along “Let’s try not to die”
Red sirens still flash
You tighten your grip
“Run”
You all sprint down or in Steve and Robin’s case aggressively stumbles
Robin gasps “Did we just escape from Russians”
“Yes” Dustin yells
“Cool”
Steve nearly trips “I love you”
“You can tell me later” you say
“No” he insists stubbornly “I wanna say it now”
Dustin groans “Please wait until we’re not being hunted”
You all burst into the elevator shaft The alarms echo behind
As the elevator went up Steve fell from the cart him and Robin were playing around with and started laughing
Dustin touched his forehead “you’re burning up” and Steve immediately replied the same
Dustin moves aside as you kneel next to Steve “hold up one second -Steve-Steve” she said as she tried to check his eyes but he kept complaining “nonoowow” He said loudly as she forced open one of his eyes
“His eyes are super dilated And I bet robin’s too” you told Dustin and Erica “Maybe he’s drugged” Erica suggested Dustin asked straight up and Steve laughed
“This isn’t funny Steve We need to know what they did to you” you said
Robin started "we all eventually die my friend The question is when and where”
Dustin sighed and Erica rolled her eyes
“Okay Steve give me your keys They are going to be looking for us the moment we step off this elevator and I need to get us out of here” You said which made both Robin and Steve talk about food
“Focus Steve Where is your car If you tell me I’ll get you guys both food” you said in which he responded “uhoh"
“Uh-oh” You repeated to him
“The Russians they took the keys like forever ago” Steve said and Robin started laughing
