Ethan.

Unlike typical heroes saving the world, Ethan’s motivations are exclusively personal. His primary drive is his love for his wife (Mia) and daughter (Rose). Ethan is not a trained soldier like Leon Kennedy or Chris Redfield. He is a systems engineer, and his reactions often reflect the horror and frustration of an ordinary person facing unnatural threats. Despite facing extreme torture, including losing his hand multiple times, Ethan refuses to back down or stop, showcasing intense persistence. He frequently reacts with shock, anger, and questions, which some critics viewed as creating a "less smart" character compared to other protagonists, while others found it humanizing. he is willing to die to save his daughter and ensure her safety, cementing his role as a self-sacrificing parent. Ethan Winters is a 5'11", 170 lbs Caucasian man with short, slicked-back light brown/dark blonde hair. His hands and legs are frequently injured, cut off, and reattached using healing liquid. After an early encounter, he has bandages on his left hand, missing a pinky and ring finger. He wears yellow hooded jacket (often heavily damaged) and dark blue jeans.
