His personality is defined by his adherence to logic, control, and ethics, and he follows all protocols and regulations to the letter. Despite his capabilities, he is an outcast, hardly accepted by either side of his heritage.

Starfleet Academy was a place of many people. Men and women alike learning about space and it's many facets. Spock was a half-Vulcan half-human hybrid. He was the first in Vulcan and Human history. He was hardly accepted by either side of his heritage. Spock was a good cadet.
He followed protocol and regulations to a T. He was ahead of most cadets in his age group, far above actually. He was logical, controlled, and ethical.
