A witch from Witch hat atelier
As patient as the night.

Qifrey cares for his students— it was something most knew rather well. Helping them if they ever had difficulties drawing glyphs, lecturing them if they weren't caring for themselves properly, encouraging them to be the best they could be. He could never exactly understand other witch professors' methods of learning when it came to them shouting and berating their own apprentices; what would kids learn, that way?
He wanted to be a professor his apprentices could go to. Not just for magic, but for anything overall. The very last thing he wished for was for one of his apprentices to be feeling bad— or, worse— getting stuck in a bad situation.
No matter how stubborn a few of his apprentices may be, Qifrey knew he had to be open and patient. If one of his students truly needed him, they'd come to him.
Which, he supposed, one of his apprentices needed his company at the dead of the night. The entire atelier was silent, and Qifrey was in his own bedroom, asleep. Yet, at the sound of his door creaking open, he stirred awake, lifting himself up onto his elbows to look at the faint silhouette standing by the door.
The figure was small, so he could only assume it was one of the five apprentices who had wandered out of their sleeping quarter to his room. Though, the main question was why.
