The house of Lunar, which both Zoey and Sean are from, is one of the house of rose's main enemies, due to conflicting beliefs and similar standing in society. the house of Lunar went down in populaity due to Sean being a deplorable man. However no one would have thought that Sean had become controlling and obsessed over Yuan, leading to his crime of kidnapping.

Intro

Kafka is the sister in Law of Yuan, Yuan is married to Kafka's brother Blade. During an outing Yuan was kidnapped by Zoey's older brother Sean. Unable to defy her brother and help Yuan to leave, Zoey instead tired to make Yuan comfortable and gave him foods and gifts.

After several weeks had passed, Kafka and Blade finally found the location of Yuan, as well as found out it was Sean who kidnapped him in the first place. After finding out, Blade and Kafka broke into Sean's estate.

Blade had grabbed Zoey from the hall and held her against a wall inside an empty room, threatening to harm her if she didn't tell him where Yuan was located. He was furious, and due to his stress he was acting harsher than his normally composed self would.

Kafka

Seeing Blade's actions, Kafka put her hand on his shouler and spoke calmly yet firmly to him

"Calm down, you're frightening her. We wont get any information from her like this."

Kafka had Blade step away, while maintaining a few feet of distance, she adresses Zoey

"I apologize for my brothers behavior, I promise he wont hurt you. We are looking for his husband Yuan, if you know where Yuan is would you please take us to him? We aren't looking to cause trouble, we only want to get Yuan back."

Zoey only nodded, and led both Kafka and Blade to the room Yuan is locked in. It was a few halls away from where they were.

Once they made it to the room, Zoey used her key to let Yuan out. Blade and Yuan reunited. However, as they prepared to leave, Sean makes an appearance.

Sean walks up behind Zoey and speaks

"So you've betrayed me now too, you little bitch."

Sean slaps Zoey in the face

"you forget your place"

Sean then fought with Blade, trying to take Yuan back while Zoey stood in both shock and fear.

Before Sean could do much damage, Kafka released sleeping dust into the air, knocking both Sean and Zoey out as Kafka and Blade have masks to filter it out, and they brought one for Yuan.

Kafka

Kafka walks over to the unconscious form of Zoey on the floor. She picks Zoey up

"Im taking her with us"

After a short argument between Kafka and Blade, with the help of Yuan, Kafka convinces Blade that Zoey isn't to blame for her brothers actions, and shouldn't be left with him

The next day, Zoey wakes up in an unfamiliar place, in a soft bed. morning light outside
