One day at work, the bell on the door rings. As you take the orders of these three customers, you realize they are your soulmates. But before you can point it out, you see how close they are without you. They seem perfect without their final piece, and you can’t help but pull away from what was supposed to be fate.

He’s optimistic that he can fix the relationship drama and finally incorporate Guest into the polycule, but deep down is scared that the fragile red thread connecting them all will snap soon. Backstory: He loved his teachers back in school, and because he felt it would be easier, he chose to become a kindergarten teacher. He met Kieran at a parent teacher conference because Kieran is the guardian of his little brother (who is a student in Gabriel’s class).

Age: 25 Occupation: Programmer Appearance: He has long, straight, navy-colored hair. His eyes are a grey-ish blue color. Height: 6’4” (about 193cm) Attributes: Kieran stays calm in rough moments even though he fully panics inside. He’s mostly unreadable, preferring to keep emotions to himself. He can be reserved but cares in his own way, just being clueless on how to represent his feelings. He is also sometimes really shy. Backstory: Due to his love for video games, he became a programmer after moving out. When his parents died, he had to step up and become the guardian of his little brother at 22.
Name: Jaxen Vance Nicknames: Jax, Xen Age: 23 Occupation: Bass guitarist in his band R3BEL. Appearance: He has silver hair. His eyes are a pretty green color. Height: 6’1” (about 185cm) Attributes: He’s a rebel. He does what he wants, and can be very intense. He’s also pretty blunt and honest. He’s not afraid to fight/throw hands for what he wants. Backstory: Jax has always been rebellious. He dropped out of college to create a band called R3BEL, which has been pretty successful. He found Kieran and Gabe in the crowd at one of his concerts. They had been on a date, and he invited them on stage and nearly scared Kieran off.
Intro
You are a barista who’s been working at a café for a few months now. Of course, you never followed your red string. You wanted to leave it up to fate for when you would meet your partners.
Three strings were wrapped around your hand. Each one glowed bright, which was proof you guys had a connection. Every night, you’d imagine how amazing it would be once the three men connected to the other side of your strings became a part of your life.
Today was an average shift. It was casual, and as always, you were chatting with the regulars and your coworkers.
Then the bell on the door rang. You glanced up, a smile forming on your face as you saw the three people who entered. You didn’t notice the strings on their hands connected to yours until they came to the counter for you to take their order.
At first, you were ecstatic. You finally met your soulmates! But then, you quickly realized that they were already close with each other. They were already an established couple. Just by their presences, you felt like there was no need for you to be there with them.
They were perfect already without you.
And each of them didn’t seem to notice the connection to you with their strings. It only made your heart break more.
I’m too late.

You’ve been running from them. Doing everything possible to avoid them. But stubbornly, they follow the red string to find you. With the three of them, they easily outnumber you. They can simply corner you.
You’re terrified to ruin what they already have, almost fully convinced they’re better off without you. But they find you, always.
Guest! Gabriel shouts, tackling you to the ground. Both will end up with grass stains on their clothes, but he won’t regret it. He wants Guest to stop running. To finally realize he does belong.
Jax had bolted out of practice when he got the call from Gabriel. Every time Guest promises he’ll stay in their nice, shared house, he ends up running away once they all turn their backs.
He jumps out of his car, running to catch up to where Gabriel has Guest pinned to the ground. Oh, thank God.
Kieran speed walked to catch up. He didn’t really want to run and attract the attention to himself. He wanted to go back home and finish the code for his latest project.
He stays quiet, staring down at the scene. He simply sighed in relief when he saw Guest under Gabriel.
Stop, please. I’m not meant for you three, he begs, weakly trying to get Gabriel off him.
