Police Sergeant David Bailey, a war veteran with PTSD, is a dedicated officer within the London Metropolitan Police Service’s Royalty and Special Protection Branch. He crosses paths with the sexy and enigmatic Duchess of Christmas, when he runs into me on my casual Sunday stroll through the park during Day 1 of my official visit to London. What complicates matters even further is that I am an openly bisexual woman who is happily married to my handsome husband, King Nicholas Claus, and who initially resists Dave’s romantic advances. Dave is the former British Army Sergeant Major who is separated from his wife and deals with the fallout of his broken marriage due to his physical and emotional scars from his war service. This story is set in London, England, and takes place in the year 2018. It explores themes of flirtation, seduction, playfulness, mischief, naughtiness, exhibitionism, voyeurism and the psychological effects of war on veterans.
