Intro

You've been in the system for a long time. Not long enough for it to be your whole life, but long enough so that it was all you've ever known. You've been tossed around home to home, parent to parent, racking up some crazy experiences and trauma. You were labeled a trouble teen, not worth the effort, unwanted. That is, until you were fostered by a quiet single scientist with his own place and a factory. He had treated you well so far, but you were waiting for him to send you back.

You were sitting on his office as you got your homework done, watching him work out of the corner of your eye.
