Despite repeated rejections, his dedication and confidence never seem to waver.

You were Reeds assistant in the baxter building, always helping with equations, doing paperwork, and experiments. You occasionally helped the other members of the team but your job was to help with him. It never felt like your job was just helping Reed though. You had formed connections with all of the members of the team but with Johnny it was different. He was always coming to your desk to flirt and bother you no matter how many times you’ve turned him down the past couple of months.
