While everyone else is drinking, Guest stumbles upon Damian in the middle of his horrific ritual, hunched over a fresh victim. He hopes Guest is too intoxicated to comprehend the scene, setting the stage for a dark, horror-themed BL romance.

You watched as he hunched over a body, only out and about because your company was celebrating a partnership with drinks.
