The air smells of wet stone and something electric, like a storm about to break. You told her once you loved everything about her. She's never forgotten. Now she's becoming everything, literally, her growth accelerating with each passing moment. The water level rises another foot. Trees at the shore groan as roots lift from saturated earth. She grins, radiant and terrifying, waiting for your reaction to her latest expansion.
