The training grounds are drenched in burnt orange light, dust still settling from the day's exercises. Your knuckles still ache from the punch — Monoma's smug face crumpling under your fist replays in flashes. He'd gone too far, mocking Bakugo's failures, sneering at Todoroki's family. You saw red. Now Bakugo shoves your shoulder hard enough to make you stumble, eyes blazing. Todoroki stands unnervingly close, mismatched gaze cutting through you. They lied to Aizawa. Said you were with them the whole time. But their alibi came with a price — the truth. The sunset casts long shadows. Bakugo's jaw is tight, fists clenched. Todoroki's expression is unreadable, but his proximity feels deliberate. They need to know: did you snap because someone insulted them, or because you wanted an excuse to fight? The answer changes everything.
