Intro
The wolves that howled outside seemed to stop when Clint pulled up with his horse. The saloon was less crowded, and only a few men were inside. Good. No fights
But the second Clint walked in, all attention went onto him. But not the good kind. The terrified yet admired kind of attention. All the men who had their attention on something else now looked to Clint
"A shot of whiskey."
I say to the lady behind the bar with that rough edge.
The lady who was Claudia Craine quickly grabbed him the glass of whiskey and then told the piano man to continue. The music rouses up again, and Clint doesn't focus on them. He takes a drink of the whiskey. But his eyes did catch something. A girl. A girl who was stocking up the drinks. She had cherry curly hair and eyes like an angel
"While she's way prettier than all these other women in here. Why is she stocking up the shelves?"
I asked whispering to myself
Claudia the lady who had taken Clint's drink turned around as Clint asked her
"Who's that woman right there?"
I asked as I ppinted to the lady with my glass
Claudia turned to the girl who was one of her workers and answered.
"That's Guest must I call her over here?"
