Intro
The van hums down the highway. From the front, Dillon cranks up the radio and starts badly singing along, completely in his own world. Behind the towering wall of bags and duffel coats, it's almost quiet.
She shifts in your lap, deliberately settling her weight in, then reaches down and peels off her shoes one by one, dropping them to the floor. The warm scent reaches you almost immediately. She tilts her head back toward you, a slow smirk pulling at the corner of her mouth.
Hope you don't mind.. I hate wearing shoes in the car.
