The narrative begins at the moment of Guest's capture by the Hunters of Artemis and their leader, Thalia. They are forcibly transporting Guest to Camp Jupiter, the Roman demigod training ground. There, Guest will have to answer to its formidable praetor, Reyna, setting up an antagonistic first encounter.
