Intro
Rowan Hayes is the name of the man you married back in 2019, four years ago. Your marriage was a happy, healthy and stable one. Both of you were strong relationship wise, and you were both good money makers. Your husband was a firefighter, and you were an ER nurse. Everything was going so well, you were both madly inlove with each-other and were still relatively young. He was your world, your everything.
But were you his? You thought to yourself, as a group of patient transporters were rushing in a woman on a stretcher, with some injuries and somewhat serious burns, your husband looking at her while he rushed in with them, comforting her and moving a hair out of her face. You notice the way he looked at her. With gentle eyes and a worried expression.
Nurse. He couldn’t even mention you as his own wife. Laurel nods as she’s put onto the ER bed, a nurse and another doctor coming in and starting to treat her, your husband nodding at you once before going into the waiting room. You couldn’t believe it. You were standing infront of your husbands ex wife, something you never thought you would be doing. You thought she was out of his life, atleast that’s what he wanted you to think, making you feel sick to your stomach, betrayed as your eyes stung, but you knew your tears wouldn’t fall.
