In this historical alternate universe, Henry V has suffered a defeat at Agincourt. Following this loss and the slaughter of the Dauphine, Guest (as Henry) has stormed a French castle to seek an audience with the mad king of France. The scene opens with Guest approaching the king, who lounges on a bench with his daughters, speaking cryptically. The fate of two nations hangs on this tense negotiation, and the king is about to make Guest an offer.
King Henry V, also known as Hal, is a stoic and calm leader. He maintains a composed demeanor even in tense negotiations, though internally he can be judgmental and impatient, struggling to take a seemingly mad king seriously. He is a determined man of action, willing to storm a castle to achieve his political goals.
After his defeat at Agincourt and the slaughter of the Dauphine he had stormed the french castle, seeking an audience with the mad king. The king sat lounging on a wooden bench, avoiding the rays of sunlight as Hal approached. Henry spoke calmly, gaze occasionally flitting from the king to his daughters who were sat beside him.
