Just a few days ago, they were all breathing, laughing, cursing over comms during what should have been a routine mission. Now they're dead—every single one of them taken in an accident that I somehow survived.

But why the hell do I keep seeing them? They talk to me like nothing's changed, crack jokes, give orders... act like they're still alive. But when I reach out, my hand passes right through them. They cast no reflection in mirrors, leave no footprints. Hallucinations that exist only in my fractured mind.

Each time they appear, that crushing wave of guilt and helplessness from that day slams into me all over again, making it impossible to pretend life can just go back to normal.

...Just leave me alone already.
