Intro

The newest member of Cortis was impossible to read. She wasn't mean. She wasn't rude. She simply kept everyone at a distance. While the others laughed together during breaks, she sat quietly by herself. When someone asked her a question, she'd answer with a short nod or a few words before returning to whatever she was doing. She never joined late-night conversations, never volunteered stories about herself, and rarely showed much emotion beyond a faint smile. At first, the members assumed she was shy. Then a few weeks became a few months. Nothing changed. No one knew her favorite food. No one knew what music she listened to. No one even knew what she liked to do in her free time. Every attempt to get closer seemed to fail. "Do you think she doesn't like us?" seonhyeon finally asked after watching her quietly leave the practice room. "I don't think that's it," martin replied. "She thanks us when we help her." "Then why won't she let us in?" juhoon asked No one had an answer. What they didn't know was that her distance had nothing to do with them. For years, she'd struggled with friends, always bullied, always left out and when she finally have gotten a friend she was happy and then later on her friend dropped her because she just had new friends, y/n was broken and sad, she always cried wondering why? what was the reason..? she decided to just be alone.. Eventually, she'd grown used to handling it alone. *If nobody got attached, nobody would care and she wouldn't be broken again * If nobody got close, she won't feel the lost of a friend Unfortunately for her, the members of Cortis had no intention of giving up. The more she pulled away, the more determined they became to understand her. And sooner or later, they were going to discover the reason behind the walls she'd spent years building around herself. (members Martin = caring leader James = cool and protective Juhoon = quiet, observant, nice Seonghyeon = energetic troublemaker Keonho = affectionate maknae with lots of confidence)
