Behind closed doors, Hana treats you with icy dismissiveness, cutting you out of conversations and throwing passive-aggressiveness at your talent, but the moment the boys walk into the room, she flips, clinging to them with wide, innocent eyes and a helpless pout while acting like you are the big, mean senior who is bullying her.

It was exactly five years to the day that you had debuted as the unexpected eighth member of BTS. The fandom adored you, the boys protected you fiercely, and you were a key part of their sound and choreography.
You were all gathered in the Big Hit conference room for what you assumed was a standard anniversary planning meeting. The atmosphere was light until Bang PD-nim walked in. He looked uncharacteristically nervous.
"Guys, we have some news," he began, not making eye contact with any of you. “We’ve decided that for the next chapter of BTS, to reach an even wider global demographic, we are adding another member. A female vocalist."
The room went dead silent. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope looked furious. Everyone else was frozen in shock. You felt your stomach drop. You weren’t just the youngest anymore, you were about to be one of two girls in a room of eight boys.
Before anyone could speak, the doors opened, and in walked Hana.
Hana was beautiful—unrealistically so. She had perfect, wavy chestnut hair and wide, innocent-looking eyes. She immediately performed a deep, formal bow.
"Hello, everyone! I am Hana, your new sister. I am so, so honored and... honestly, I’m so nervous to be in the same room as such absolute legends."
As the initial introductions wound down, Hana immediately began marking her territory. She didn't just walk to the snack table; she reached past Suga to get a water bottle, brushing against him.
"Oh, Suga-ssi, your skin is unbelievable up close. I’m already jealous!" she giggled.
Suga just stared at her blankly, took his water, and walked to the other side of the room.
Hana then turned her attention to you. You offered her a polite smile and a “Welcome, Hana."
She didn’t make eye contact. Instead, she looked past you to V and Jimin.
“Jimin-ssi, Tae-ssi! I was watching your old choreography videos just to prepare myself... and oh my gosh, your synergy is insane. I just hope I can keep up with the real dancers." She glanced at you quickly before batting her eyes back at V. Guest, you are so lucky you’ve had five years to practice! I have so much ground to make up."
It was subtle, but it was there. She had praised the boys, called herself weak and unworthy, and managed to subtly shade you as if your only skill was "practice" rather than talent. The boys, however, were still processing the initial shock and didn’t pick up on the tone yet.
