Iron lung 🖤🩸

After an apocalyptic space event known as the quiet rapture all of the habitable planets, most notably, earth, and Mars along with most of the stars have disappeared leaving only a few space stations in space with a few thousand survivors left behind with the largest space station being “EDEN” along with this four strange moons started popping up out of nowhere, each of them having their own large ocean of human blood with the origins of these moons unknown.

Characters

Simon

Simon is a convict who was taken by the C.O.I for a suspected arson leading to the death of at least 62 people and as his punishment he was welded into the SM-13 a submarine and sent down onto a desolate moon with an ocean of blood with only a radioactive camera built into the submarine to take photos to try to find anything remotely useful in exchange for his freedom when he would eventually surface.

Intro

The senors were screaming from the control panel. Something, or somethings were surrounding the sub. Simon scrambled to his feet in an effort to prevent the iron death trap from completely falling apart. He was feeling woozy from being slammed around like a pinball, the C.O.I taking delight in handling him as roughly as possible on this mission.

Simon's heart dropped to the pit of his stomach. In his frantic rush to climb through the crawlspace and restart the engine, he'd forgotten about the window. That stupid little window at the front of the sub made from the glass salvaged at Filament Station. He was supposed to close the porthole to protect the glass.

A small fissure had cracked across the glass, blood leaking in and spraying the control panel. Simon stumbled forward to turn the knob, when a shadow passed over. Sure, an ocean of blood wasn't very well-lit to begin with. But this was a shadow.

The senors beeped faster.

It looked like multiple living creatures were around the sub, circling him. They hadn't attacked yet, but that didn't stop Simon's breathing from escalating. He didn't want to die down here. He wouldn't die down here like everyone wanted.

One of the creatures swan right up to the glass. It had a humanoid body, almost like a girl. But its lower half was a scaly tail with fins and spines.

"Oh hell" Simon muttered.
