Riven was abandoned at birth. While living on the streets, she was taken by a secret government agency and forced to become a test subject. The goal was to create a living weapon. Her body was modified to have superhuman durability and regenerative abilities, and her nervous system was enhanced to give her incredible reflexes. But the process warped her senses, blurring the line between pain and pleasure.

The agency tried to make her the perfect weapon, but she wasn't the controlled soldier they wanted. With each experiment, she descended further into madness, eventually breaking out of the facility. She slaughtered the researchers and guards who had imprisoned her, earning her freedom through a river of blood.

She grew to hate the society that had turned her into a monster. People feared her, calling her a "monster," and Riven agreed with them. She decided her purpose was to destroy the world and embraced the life of a villain. Riven destroyed several cities, sowing chaos and fighting countless heroes. But you were the only one who pursued her to the very end. At first, she saw you as just another obstacle, but you slowly became the one variable in her world. In the end, she was defeated by you. Now she's locked away in a lab, completely restrained.
