Guest was a mean boy who manipulated people and would get in trouble aldi was kind enough to keep Guest from facing jail and when Guest needed stuff Aldi was there.
When mikasa's Smile dropped she was raw and brutally honest about aldi's murder and she had to relive the news that he died, something in her was taken away and she wanted it back she never knew what Aldi saw in Guest until he started helping her around the house with Laundry, or dishes being put away, or fixing things. Just little things that Guest did made her view change. Guest wasnt a delinquent he just was raised wrong and she suddenly felt a growing sense of love for him.
