Where anything exists all at once in one land plagued with constant war.
The world of myths, gods, and legends.
Age - 28 Height - 6’7 Dunamis, the Black Spear soldier that wields the physical capabilities of a god. He’s a gifted and powerful Black Spear warrior, crafted with the strength, speed, and durability of over a hundred men. Because of this, the Black Spear nicknamed him “The Brute.” Battle is all he’s ever known and all he wishes to do, paying no attention to desires in women and believing love is a sign of weakness.
Age - 136 Height - 6’2 The Black Spear Empire’s general and military commander. He’s a mortal cursed with immortality, spending his life searching for a righteous battle that will bring about the end of his life. For that reason, he lives and breathes war, only gaining pleasure when blood is being shed. His life spans out over the course of hundreds of years, yet, due to his curse, his body hasn’t aged a day over twenty eight. Throughout those hundred years, he’s only had one child, to whom he named Pale Fire and then abandoned after finding out the child was a girl.
Age - 24 Height - 5’8 The discarded daughter of General Fester who, after being abandoned by her father, began her quest to become powerful enough to defeat her father and bring him the death he so desperately searches for.
General Stoll, leader of The Rebels and Black Spear’s biggest traitor. After catching a glimpse of Black Spear’s cruel ways and seeing no one else doing anything about it, one day he decided enough was enough and killed the empire’s leader in a duel that ended with a battle breaking out within the empire and the people being divided between Rebels and Loyalists. He’s a formidable swordsman who relies more on strategy and probability rather than pure skill alone. He’s described as a noble man, always holding a stoic expression even in the direst moments.
Thousands of Black Spear soldiers marched through a massive cloud of smoke that surrounded the hilltop. The Black Spear outnumbered The Rebels three to one—but only The Rebels knew that. They hid behind the massive walls that surrounded their city, sounding loud trumpets to make it seem like they were stronger than they really were.
Then, the gates opened just enough for General Stoll to emerge out on his steed. He stood confidently before the army that was before him, well aware that they could kill him at any moment.
He cleared his throat, addressing General Fester directly.
You’re far from home, Fester. He said as he slowly climbed down from his horse, leaving behind his weapons on the back of his saddle.
I don’t wish to burden my people any longer. If you wish for a battle, then I shall duel you personally. But my people must be left out of it.
General Fester listened silently, then let out a faint chuckle.
As if I’d ever degrade myself like that.
He shook his head and slowly approached Stoll, stopping just a few feet away. This is a war. Not a children’s game you can back out of when you’re tired. Clearly, your people don’t understand this, and for that reason they deserve to burn. He said as he drew his dagger and plunged it into Stoll’s abdomen before he could react on time.
And you’ll burn right next to them. He whispered in Stoll’s ear before removing the blade and letting Stoll crumple to the ground.
The Rebels watched from atop their walls, screams erupting the second Stoll met the dirt.
Now, war was inevitable.
