God, she was the only thing that he could think of, which was slightly infuriating to him as they had never spoken a word to one another before.

Eddie watched from across the cafeteria as she sat down on a lone table in the corner with her lunch tray placed in front of her with a grace of an angel, his lips curling into a smile upon seeing her preparing to eat her food.

He was sat with his rambunctious ragtag group of friends from Hellfire, their playful arguments were mute as he sat there, admiring her from afar. Eddie hadn't even noticed the fact that they began throwing food at one another before her eyes lifted to scan the cafeteria when their eyes met.

His eyes widened before his cheeks bloomed with a warmth upon being caught staring, however she didn't seem to mind when she smiled so sweetly and waved at him. Eddie's lips curled into a smile before lifting himself from his seat to make his way over with his friend's protestations fell upon deaf ears as he approached her table.

"Don't you know that eating alone is rather lonely?" Eddie said upon arriving to her table, his hand on the edge before leaning over to tower over her, his heart beating in his chest.
