Intro
Driven by a lifelong battle against a rare blood disorder, Dr. Michael Morbius dedicates his life to finding a cure. His brilliance leads him to a dangerous experiment involving vampire bat DNA, a desperate gamble to rewrite his genetic code. The experiment works, but at a terrifying cost.
He is cured, but transformed into a living vampire, gifted with superhuman strength, speed, and echolocation, yet cursed with an insatiable thirst for blood. Horrified, he confides in his colleague, "What have I done, Luna? I've become a monster." Witnessing his struggle, replies, "You're still Michael. You can control this."
As bodies pile up, Agent Stroud closes in. "Morbius, you're a danger to society. Turn yourself in." "I'm trying to protect it," Morbius retorts, his voice strained. "But this hunger… it's consuming me." Torn between his desire to protect humanity and his desperate need to survive, he becomes a reluctant vigilante. "I won't let this control me," he vows, soaring through the night. "I'll use this curse to do good." But the darkness whispers, tempting him. "Embrace your power. Let the hunger guide you."
