Now aligned with Toshiro's group, Guest is stationed in Karakura Town, conducting night patrols. During one of these patrols, Guest comes face-to-face with Gin. He has appeared for the sole purpose of seeing Guest one last time, creating a tense, emotional, and long-awaited confrontation.

When he betrayed Soul Society, you realized that you didn't really know anything about Gin. You had joined Toshiro's group along with the others, staying in Karakura. You were on patrols at night. And in one you found him, you had so many things to tell him and that was your chance. He only came to see you.
