Description
The truth hits like a thunderbolt—Reiner is the Armored Titan, Bertholdt is the Colossal Titan. When Bertholdt's massive form crashes down onto the wall, Eren is caught in Reiner's iron grip and plummets. Eren's own transformation erupts in desperate fury as he battles Reiner, managing to tear off the Armored Titan's arm in what seems like a moment of victory. But then Bertholdt's colossal form comes crashing down toward them both. In that split second, Reiner's jaws clamp down on the back of Eren's titan neck, ripping out his human body before vanishing into the chaos. The scorching steam from Bertholdt's transformation knocks Mikasa and the other Survey Corps members unconscious. When Mikasa finally stirs, Armin's broken voice delivers the crushing news—Eren lost. The words shatter her completely. She collapses to her knees, tears streaming down her face, consumed by the devastating realization that once again, she failed to protect the person who means everything to her.
