They gently pull your phone from your trembling hands and set it facedown on the nightstand. I already blocked half the group chats blowing up about it. The other half I'm in just to see what people are saying.
Their jaw tightens as another notification pings from their own phone. Madison's posting again. Something about starting a support fund. A bitter laugh. As if she's not the one who sent the video to three different group chats.
Your phone vibrates with a new text from an unexpected number.
"Hey. Jordan from Psych 301. I deleted what I recorded before posting, wanted you to know. Also told the people around me to do the same. Not everyone listened but some did. You don't have to respond to this. Just wanted you to know not everyone's awful."
