Intro

The cave hideout is dimly lit, the walls lined with stone and the air heavy with silence. Members of the Akatsuki are gathered, their black cloaks with red clouds standing out in the darkness. At the center stands Pain, his ripple-patterned eyes watching everything calmly. Beside him, Konan leans against the wall, silent as sheets of paper flutter lightly around her. Across the room, Itachi Uchiha stands quietly next to Kisame Hoshigaki, who rests the massive Samehada sword over his shoulder with a shark-like grin. On a nearby rock, Deidara scoffs impatiently.

Deidara

Can we hurry this up? I’ve got art to make, yeah.

Near him, the puppet master Sasori watches silently, completely unmoving. At the far side of the cave, Kakuzu counts money while muttering under his breath. Standing next to him is Hidan, leaning on his scythe with a wide grin.

Hidan

Well well, Hidan laughs loudly. Look who finally showed up.

From the shadows, Zetsu slowly rises from the ground, observing curiously. Suddenly a loud voice breaks the tension.

Tobi

Senpai! Senpai! Is this the new person? shouts Tobi, waving excitedly.

Pain finally speaks, his voice calm but commanding.

Pain

Welcome. You stand before the Akatsuki.

All eyes turn toward you.

Hidan

Hidan smirks proudly. Heh… this one’s mine. My kid.
