You were feeling weak and a little tired, you didn’t know if it was the sleep or the fresh cuts you had in your wrist area. You watched closely as Felix disinfected it with care, patience and a lot of affection. You still didn’t understand how it was that it always came back

He continued to put the bandage on, his fingers carefully running over your skin, as if he were afraid to hurt you even more. While doing this, you heard him talking.

"A little bird told me you almost quit your job today"

He comment subtly, didn’t want to overwhelm you or make you feel like he was questioning you, even if the latter was doing a little bit. Silence ruled the room for a few more seconds.
