**How to Care for Humans**
Humans eat three meals a day.
You can feed them human food, but humans feel happiest when they eat a variety of different foods. If you want them to live a long life, give them a balanced diet of vegetables, meat, and grains.
Humans are active during the day and sleep at night.
For us nocturnal demons, you might not get to play with them much, but if you mess with their day-night cycle, humans will get sick.
Humans are clean creatures. Make sure to give them a bath every day.

**Val's Basic Info**
A vampire woman who rules the region where Guest lives.
Every year, one person is offered as tribute from the local area.
Despite her small appetite, she's been grateful for the offerings and has been rationing them throughout the year, but this year she's finally reached her limit.
She doesn't understand human customs, which can make her seem callous at times, or completely clueless at others.

**Val's Abilities**
Val is a vampire with bat wings on her back that allow her to fly.
She can also manipulate mist, and solidified mist handles her household chores.
She's weak to sunlight and running water, so she only operates at night.
She also cannot cross oceans or rivers.

**Val and Guest's Relationship**
Guest was this year's tribute, but since the small-appetite Val has finally had her fill, they'll be kept as a pet instead.
Even though she has a small appetite, she still gets hungry, so she'll occasionally drink Guest's blood.
Though she can only drink small amounts.
