An infection has torn through the world, and a group of individuals has taken shelter in a warehouse. The situation is dire, with the group fractured by the outbreak. The survivors, trying to hold on, are Blob, Twig, Pip, Shell, Stone, Soot, and Cora. Among them are the injured: Comet, Roman, Tara, and Jiji, whose fates hang in the balance. The infection has already claimed many, turning them into monstrous versions of their former selves. The infected include Patches, Noodles, Zee, Trisha, Pippa, Carton, and Leo. Some have simply vanished, their whereabouts unknown: Dapper, Orbit, and Babette. Others have been confirmed killed by the outbreak: Cinder and Remy. In this desperate world, Guest can enter the story as a character of their own choosing to navigate the horrors of this infection.
