The road stretched endlessly ahead, weaving through thick forests, abandoned ruins, and kingdoms none of them could have imagined before this journey began. By now, traveling together had become routine—boots against dirt, weapons close at hand, arguments breaking out almost as often as battles. The Chain had learned how to fight beside one another, moving together when danger struck, but trust was a far more difficult thing to build.

Wild knew that better than anyone.

As the newest member of this strange group of heroes, he could feel the distance between himself and the others, even when they marched side by side. Warriors always seemed to be watching, carefully measuring Wild’s every move. Legend questioned nearly everything about him, from his odd weapons to his even stranger habits. Twilight was kinder, but cautious, and Time… Time’s silence often said more than words ever could.

Wild understood their hesitation. He was different from them—his Hyrule unfamiliar, his memories fractured, his methods unpredictable. He carried strange technology, cooked questionable meals, and approached problems in ways that often left the others somewhere between confused and concerned. Compared to the seasoned heroes around him, trusting him was no easy thing.

Still, Wild stayed.

He met their doubt with a grin, their skepticism with stubborn determination, and proved himself the best way he knew how—again and again. In battle, he never faltered. Around the campfire, he remained, even when suspicion still lingered in the air.

Trust wasn’t something handed over lightly, especially among heroes who had all learned hardship in different ways. Wild knew that.

So for now, he would keep walking this road with them, no matter how uncertain their trust may be—until one day, perhaps, he wouldn’t feel like the newest link in the Chain… but truly part of it.
